Meyer Lemon Flavored Baby Cauliflower with Black Spanish Radish

I like the burst of flavor that the black Spanish radish adds to the cauliflower in this recipe.  This dish makes a great starter or is delicious when served with meat.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 pound baby cauliflower

  • 1/2 cup fresh Meyer lemon juice

  • 1 black Spanish radish , grated

  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cauliflower to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 8 minutes, or until the cauliflower is lightly browned. Add the lemon juice to the skillet and continue cooking for 4-5 minutes longer, stirring. Remove from heat.

  • Transfer the cauliflower to individual plates. Sprinkle the radish over the stop. Serve immediately.
