MEET CHEF ALLISON
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Allison became enamored with food and cooking in her earliest years, where it has, since been an enormous part of her life.
She is passionate about supporting local farmers and businesses and crafting dishes that highlight the flavors of
seasonal ingredients and celebrate our region's vegetables and fruits, meats, dairy products, honey, olive oil, and breads from the farms.
Together with her passion for cooking, Allison enjoys supporting certain causes. Three percent of proceeds will go to a non-profit in Los Angeles whose mission is to create sustainable food systems to benefit communities while supporting local farms and businesses.
Allison created a menu, developed recipes, and was the chef for a beautiful ad campaign for Valor Spirits, whose mission is to "build prosperity." She is a photographer and the food stylist for Rustic by Allison.
For more than 50 years, Say Cheese has been a beloved part of the Silver Lake community, offering a rare blend of old-world charm and modern sensibility. Chef Allison is the new owner of the historic and beloved Los Angeles landmark, “Say Cheese.” She is determined to keep the amazing legacy that Glenn Harrell created alive.
